   mahikīāṅ havāvāṅ

   mahikīāṅ havāvāṅ dē sau yār hundē nē
   russdē nē phull tāṅ khuār hundē nē

   phullāṅ kōḷōṅ sāmbhī nahīṅōṅ jāndī mahikār
   havā kōḷ aisē hathiār hundē nē

   chūs zindgānī majbūrīāṅ dē vichōṅ
   ḍāḍhiāṅ dē chihrē tē nikhār hundē nē

   rōz hī shikārī turē maut jēb pākē
   rōz hī achintē kaī shikār hundē nē

   marnā tā paiṇā kiuṅ marīē bēmhikē
   rōz phullāṅ vich ih vichār hundē nē
